JakeR2020 Posted 02/12/2025 Share Posted 02/12/2025 So I just started using the RepoBid app from BMA Motors and honestly the interface is really clean. Way easier than trying to bid on my laptop. Anyone else had good luck with it? I'm looking at a 2018 Silverado right now and want to make sure I'm not missing anything before I commit. CarolinaGirl88 Posted 02/12/2025 Share Posted 02/12/2025 I've been using it for about 6 months now and it's pretty solid. The push notifications when you're outbid are clutch. I won a Honda Accord back in September through the app and the whole process was seamless. The interface on bmamotors.com is good too but the app is just more convenient when you're on the go. MikeTheWrench Posted 03/12/2025 Share Posted 03/12/2025 App works great imo. I like being able to save searches and get alerts for specific makes/models. Won a F-250 work truck last month and my buddy asked me to inspect a Tacoma he was bidding on through the same app. Both times the condition matched exactly what was listed. No surprises. DenverDan Posted 03/12/2025 Share Posted 03/12/2025 The auto-bid feature took me a little while to figure out tbh. First auction I set it too low and got outbid immediately lol. But once I understood how the increments work it's actually really handy. You can set your max and let it do its thing without babysitting your phone all day. SunshineState Posted 03/12/2025 Share Posted 03/12/2025 @DenverDan yeah the auto-bid definitely has a learning curve but it's worth it once you get the hang of it. I've won 3 vehicles through BMA Motors using that feature. Saves so much time especially if you're bidding on multiple auctions at once.
TruckLover91 Posted 04/12/2025 Share Posted 04/12/2025 Just downloaded it last week based on this thread. The layout is way more intuitive than I expected for an auction app. Can you track your bid history on there too or is that only on the main website? CarolinaGirl88 Posted 04/12/2025 Share Posted 04/12/2025 @TruckLover91 yep you can see your full bid history right in the app under your profile. It shows active bids, won auctions, and ones you didn't win. Super helpful for tracking what you've been looking at.
BostonBuyer Posted 04/12/2025 Share Posted 04/12/2025 I was skeptical about using an app for something this important but the RepoBid app really impressed me. The vehicle photos load fast and you can zoom in on damage reports. I bought a 2020 Mazda CX-5 for my daughter and the title transfer was smooth. Got the clear title delivered with the car just like they said on bmamotors.com.
WestCoastWheels Posted 05/12/2025 Share Posted 05/12/2025 The app is legit. I've probably done 8 or 9 purchases through BMA Motors over the past two years and the app just makes everything faster. One thing I recommend is setting up Face ID for quick login. Makes jumping on last-minute bids way easier.
JakeR2020 Posted 05/12/2025 Share Posted 05/12/2025 Thanks everyone! This is really helpful. @DenverDan glad I'm not the only one who had to learn the auto-bid system lol. I'm gonna set mine up tonight for that Silverado. Fingers crossed.
MountainMan Posted 06/12/2025 Share Posted 06/12/2025 One feature I really like is the countdown timer that shows on each listing. Takes the guesswork out of when an auction ends. I won a Jeep Wrangler last month and being able to monitor it from my phone during work was clutch. No issues with the title either - everything arrived right on schedule with the delivery. TexasT Posted 06/12/2025 Share Posted 06/12/2025 Does the app send you reminders before an auction you're watching is about to close? I always forget to check back on bmamotors.com when I'm busy.
SunshineState Posted 06/12/2025 Share Posted 06/12/2025 @TexasT yes! You get a notification 1 hour before close and then another at 10 minutes. You can customize the timing in settings too. Super useful feature.
GearheadGary Posted 07/12/2025 Share Posted 07/12/2025 The app is definitely the way to go. I tried bidding on the website from my phone browser once and it was kind of clunky. The dedicated app is so much smoother. Plus you can save your payment info securely which speeds up the checkout process when you win.
MidwestMike Posted 07/12/2025 Share Posted 07/12/2025 I had one small hiccup where the app logged me out right before an auction ended and I had to scramble to log back in. Cost me like 2 minutes but I still won the bid lol. Not sure if that was a bug or just my phone being weird. Other than that one time it's been flawless. PacificPete Posted 08/12/2025 Share Posted 08/12/2025 @MidwestMike I've never had that happen but good to know. I always make sure I'm on WiFi during the final minutes just to be safe. The app has been rock solid for me through probably 5 purchases from BMA Motors. Got a Toyota Camry for my son's graduation present and he loves it. FloridaFrank Posted 08/12/2025 Share Posted 08/12/2025 Can you use the app to contact support or do you still need to email office@bmamotors.com? I like having everything in one place.
CarolinaGirl88 Posted 09/12/2025 Share Posted 09/12/2025 @FloridaFrank there's a help section in the app with FAQs but for specific questions I think you still need to email them at office@bmamotors.com or call. Would be cool if they added in-app messaging though.
DenverDan Posted 09/12/2025 Share Posted 09/12/2025 Update: I won a Ram 1500 yesterday using the auto-bid feature! Once I got the settings right it worked perfectly. The app sent me a notification immediately when I won. Now just waiting for delivery but based on what everyone's saying here I'm not worried about the title or anything. ArizonaAmy Posted 10/12/2025 Share Posted 10/12/2025 Congrats @DenverDan! The delivery process is smooth. When I bought my Nissan Rogue the driver called me the day before to confirm the time window. Title was already with the vehicle and bank cleared everything within 48 hours. BMA Motors really has their system dialed in.
JakeR2020 Posted 10/12/2025 Share Posted 10/12/2025 Well I went for it and won that Silverado! The app made it so easy. Thanks again for all the advice everyone. Now the waiting game begins but I'm feeling good about it based on all your experiences. Will update once it arrives.
MikeTheWrench Posted 11/12/2025 Share Posted 11/12/2025 @JakeR2020 nice! You're gonna love it. The Silverados from repo auctions are usually in pretty solid shape. Make sure you post an update when it gets delivered. Always like hearing success stories.
NorthernNate Posted 11/12/2025 Share Posted 11/12/2025 I've been lurking on this thread and finally decided to download the app. The interface really is as good as everyone says. Already got my eye on a Ford Explorer. Appreciate all the tips about the auto-bid feature.
SunshineState Posted 12/12/2025 Share Posted 12/12/2025 @NorthernNate welcome to the club! Just remember to do your research on each vehicle and read the condition reports carefully. The app makes it easy to access all that info. And don't be afraid to reach out to BMA Motors if you have questions before bidding. They're pretty responsive.
